Superintendent

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our project execution team and will be responsible for the operational execution of our projects on site. You will ensure their timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, health and safety.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Reporting to the Project Manager and continuously present on site.

• Plan and optimise work performance, with effective communication with the client, compliance with QHSE standards and adherence to time and budget requirements.

• Maintain daily contact with the customer and coordinate schedules, and translate this information to the machinists you manage directly.

• Work with the Workshop Manager to prevent machine downtime and schedule maintenance efficiently.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency and effectiveness, with a strong focus on cost awareness.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have an engineering or mechanical background with several years of operational experience in similar projects.

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.

• A hands-on mentality and strong team values.

• Ability to coordinate and advise on technical issues and challenges.

• Good command of the English language both verbally and in writing; knowledge of French is a plus.

• Strong in setting priorities.

• Able to lead, coordinate and motivate the team and internal and external stakeholders at operational level, with the aim of successful execution.

• Willingness to work abroad for extended periods of time.
