ABOUT THE JOB

At Van Tunen, we are looking for an experienced and driven Mechanic who has a passion for technology and likes to roll up their sleeves. We specialise in maintaining, repairing and modifying a wide range of earth-moving machines, such as excavators, bulldozers and wheel loaders. We do this in our workshop in Beverwijk, but also on our projects at home and abroad. With a modern equipped workshop and a team of skilled colleagues, we ensure that our machines remain in top condition.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various earthmoving machines. Your duties include:

• Performing periodic maintenance and inspections;

• Diagnosing and remedying faults (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical)

• Disassembling, repairing and assembling machine parts;

• Testing and adjusting machines to ensure optimum performance;

• Ensuring safe and efficient execution of work;

• Identifying and reporting any problems or deviations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled Mechanic who recognises himself in the following profile:

• MBO working and thinking level in the direction of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar technical education;

• Experience with earth-moving machines or similar heavy vehicles;

• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical engineering and mechanics;

• Independent, accurate and solution-oriented;

• Safety and quality are of paramount importance to you;

• In possession of a Dutch driving licence B;
